Jimmie Thomas, aka "JT", founder and experienced AV Tech, DJ, MC, and KJ of Maine Audio Visual (formerly Elm City DJ) is a native Mainer. The profession has allowed him to pursue his passion for music and entertainment. In addition, he is a certified uSAS Drone Pilot for his company, Maine Drone Pilot.

JT is also a Marine veteran and served his country for 4 years in Tustin, California. During a 6-month deployment to Okinawa, Japan, he first learned about Karaoke (the country in which it originated from), has been a fan ever since and sings often. 

JT enjoys attending live concerts, traveling the country in his RV and watching NE Patriots football. In addition to music, fitness is his other passion and to stay fit, he indoor cycles, rows, mountain hikes, does fitness bootcamps, rides his fat tire e-bike and ATV.

As a former actor, JT has performed in local theater, done TV commercials, extra work on both a Starz TV show, and a Netflix movie. In addition, he was a stand-in for actor Andrew Divoff on a Stephen King movie. He also MC'd for the late comedian Gallagher, well-known for smashing watermelon as part of his prop comedy. JT's experience in the entertainment field has helped him become a skilled Master of Ceremonies, and public speaker. With over 500 weddings and countless other events that he has personally performed, you'll have peace of mind knowing your event will be one to remember for many years to come.

Justin Dube, owner, A/V tech, drummer, videographer, and audio engineer was born and raised in Central Maine.

Justin has spent years playing drums. Beginning in his early childhood his passion for rhythm and music blossomed.  He performed in marching band and drumline in his adolescence, and most recently, has decades of performing experience with rock bands in bars, restaurants, festivals, and private events. Justin is incredibly well connected to the music scene in Lewiston, Auburn, Portland, and the surrounding areas. He maintains long-standing relationships with local and national musicians, AV companies, and music venues. 

For over 25 years, Justin has been on the scene as the audio and video engineer for other local bands and venues.  Justin produces album-quality recordings and shoots professional music videos for musicians both on-site or as the host and facilitator from his at home studio.  He continues to study and train in his field and has proudly established a large portfolio of studio recordings.

A love of music and musicianship is what drives Justin toward achieving audio perfection.  He does this through his meticulous research and decision making for finding and purchasing the most accurate ‘gear’ available.  Justin aims for the best possible sound experience in any given scenario.  To aid in this endeavor he relies not only on A/V technology, but brings to the table precise and detailed audiation and understanding of music theory, sound science, and layering, all with a healthy dose of intuition combined with prudence to guide his process.

Justin is a people person.  This attribute positions him in a uniquely qualified standing; this quality sets him apart from the rest. When working various events, Justin accommodates clients and their needs to provide a relaxed and comfortable environment. His skillset, knowledge, dedication, and diligence,  allow the hosts, performers, and guests to sit back and enjoy the show.  Whether they’re video conferencing, sharing movie night or karaoke with family and friends, or playing live music for a room full of people, Justin takes pride in knowing that the audio and video and lighting are in perfect running order, and everyone is enjoying the event!

When not working, Justin can be found hiking, searching for the perfect sunset, or spending time with his kids.
